How can I achieve a Persian-style home makeover?

My sister wants to redo her house, and she is looking to have rich colors and a variety of textures. I suggested she go for a Persian aesthetic since she likes dark colors and wood finishes. We are changing everything. I'm talking furniture, art, paint, everything!
