How can I create visual interest with patterned rugs?
Asked 4 years ago
I have two patterned rugs that I want to use in my hallway. I've been switching up how I've been layering them one on top of the other, but I'm not satisfied yet. Should they be laying side by side? Please can someone tell me how I can create visual interest with patterned rugs? Thanks!

There is no single right way to get the layered rugs to be pleasing. It's a matter of individual taste. Keep playing with the rugs, until it looks right to you! But keep the layering practical in terms of not having corners tripping you up as you come and go in the hallway. If they look good side by side, that might be the safest way to make good use of them both.
