Are vinyl rugs resistant to bacteria caused by food or drink spills?
Asked 2 years ago
My wife has been saying that we should change the living room up a bit, and I suggested we get a rug instead of changing the flooring. We both agreed, and I said I’d choose a quality rug this time, but my main concern is that rugs tend to be the dirtiest surfaces because of accidental spills, amongst other things. I want a rug that is easy to clean and is less prone to the reproduction of bacteria and growth of other microorganisms. Is vinyl an ideal choice?

Vinyl is a super durable material that is easy to clean and maintain, making it an excellent fuss-free rug. Vinyl flooring can offer excellent protection against potential bacteria, Choosing vinyl rug with antimicrobial and antibacterial properties means you'll have a great barrier in your home that is not only environmentally sound, but safe from things that could impact your and your family's overall health.
