Are vinyl area rugs safe for a toddler's play area?
Asked 2 years ago
I am designing a play area in the house for my son, and I am stuck between a few options for the flooring. I did not think that looking through flooring options that are kid-friendly would be this difficult. There are so many options on the market. I did narrow it down to budget-friendly options that don't require an entire installation. I’ve chosen area rugs for the comfort element, but I don’t know which materials are more child-friendly.

Vinyl area rugs may just be your best bet for a toddler's play area. Besides it being stain, stratch and spill resistant, it can offer safety for your toddler during play time. These rugs are also soft and warm, making it a more comfortable space for your toddler to play. I also really like BeijaFlor's interactive kid's rugs to keep your little one occupied.
