How can I make a bohemian-style rug my bedroom's focal point?

I recently bought a Bohemian style rug because I wanted to add some color to it and make it look more vibrant. I don’t know how to place it because I want to still create an airy atmosphere but with a sprinkle of the boho element. I want it to stand out.
