Which colors for hallway rugs uplift a confined space?
Asked 2 years ago
My hallway is a really confined and tight space. I want to buy a rug to uplift and brighten up the space. Which colors should I be looking out for?

For a more confined space, striped rugs work great as they do elongate and create the illusion of a larger room. Darker rugs do make for a more sensible choice since this is a high traffic area, so perhaps choosing a hallway runner that is striped or patterned in vibrant shades of blue, or moody grey could work well in a smaller space.
