Are woody tones necessary for highlighting accent colors in the Mediterranean palette?
Asked 2 years ago
I recently purchased a farm-style house and intend to remodel it. I was inspired by Mediterranean design cues, particularly the use of natural textures such as stone and wood. I'd like to replace my flooring and incorporate rugs into the final design. Can I use woody textures to complement the color accents in the room?

Wood, stone, and other natural textures are greatly used in Mediterranean interior spaces as the ideal Mediterranean design focuses on natural materials and finishes. When choosing accent and trim color for this Mediterranean style, select one of the following themes: warm and classic, or bright and white as both color palettes complement the woody textures.
