What color palettes are inspired by natural light?
Asked 3 years ago
The Japanese-style apartment I share with my roommate gets a lot of natural light. We want to paint the walls a color that compliments them and keeps the home feeling light and uplifting. Is there any color palette you can recommend for this?

Natural light is made up of the colors of the rainbow, in a summery palette, not too saturated, and not mixed, or tinted with black. Have a look at those colors, and try hanging a colored piece of fabric or holding a paper color swatch from the paint shop, against a wall that catches lots of light. The color should look alive, not flat. Choose what you love!
