Can I use neutral tones to liven up my space for a Mediterranean feel?
Asked 2 years ago
I live in an old apartment and would like to modernize it. My recent trip to Italy inspired me to recreate a Mediterranean living space. My friend suggested that I incorporate more neutral-colored furniture into my room. I don't want to break the bank, so can the look be replicated with neutral vinyl rugs?

Mediterranean-style furniture relies heavily on raw, natural-looking materials to give it that earthy feel. Vinyl rugs are a great way to achieve this while avoiding breaking the bank. Go for warm neutrals like terracotta, ochre, and grays to make natural complements to the sunbaked patina of Mediterranean design, thus wholly transforming your room!
