Can I use a Mediterranean-inspired rug to make a small space feel more spacious?
Asked 2 years ago
I have a tiny city apartment, but I want to freshen it up. I want to add a fresh coat of color and accent pieces like rugs and wall art. I am inspired by the Mediterranean design, especially the blue color palette. I want to use blue as my base color, but I don't know if it can visually make my space feel larger than it is?

As long as you use a large rug, you can use a Mediterranean-inspired option to make your small space feel much bigger. The colors you choose also have an impact, and blue is a good choice. This type of rug will refresh you space and make it feel bigget than it actually is, as long as the rest of your decor isn't cluttered.
