Are premium vinyl trivets waterproof and non-sticky if I accidentally spill drinks?

My family and I enjoy making iced teas. I usually have a fabric trivet to protect my table from the heat of the boiling tea. My children enjoy mixing the tea but frequently spill and soak up the trivet, leaving the table icky and sticky. I'm looking for a more durable option. Are premium vinyl trivets an excellent waterproof option that is non-sticky?
