Should tile rugs have the same color tones to blend with the floor and walls?
Asked 3 years ago
My entryway needs a bit of an upgrade. I want to give it more of a modern, classy vibe. I have seen lots of pictures of tile rugs in celebrity homes and I want to add one to my entryway. However, I can't seem to decide what color tones to use. Should the color tones match the floor and walls?

If you want your decor to have a harmonious feel, then, yes, you should focus on your floors and walls have the same tones. However, you can still create interesting contrast while sticking to the right tones. Although this can sound complicated, just mix and match colors with similar tones until you're satisfied!
