Can tile rug borders create a visually appealing contrast if I have neutral color floors?
Asked 4 years ago
The kitchen is the heart of the home, and I am quite frustrated with mine. The wall and floor colors are white and beige, and it makes the room look so plain and uninteresting. I have been talking to my husband about ways we can decorate the kitchen, and he suggested a tile rug with a border. Will this help make the kitchen look more modern and visually appealing?

If you choose the right colors, then you will definitely be able to create a beautiful contrast. There are so many colors to choose from that will work well with white and beige: orange, black, mustard yellow, olive green, emerald green, pale pink, dusty blue, chestnut, gold, and any natural wood tone.
