Are premium vinyl rugs energy efficient to produce?
Asked 3 years ago
I am very eco-conscious and choose environmentally friendly products as far as I can. Right now, I am looking for furniture and decorative pieces that are energy efficient and have an overall low impact on the environment. I think the idea behind vinyl rugs is really cool. Does the production process of these vinyl rugs truly have a low impact on the environment too?

Despite what many people think, vinyl products are eco-friendly, sustainable, and even non-toxic. Vinyl is made up of 57 % salt chlorine and 43 % oil (ethylene) and mostly consists of sustainable materials. Also, vinyl is completely recyclable and can be recycled, and it won't lose its value when recycled.
