Can I protect my ceramic tiles if I place a premium vinyl rug overlay?
Asked 2 years ago
I could not opt for vinyl tiles for my house because my mother insisted on ceramic tiles, so I went with that for some reason. Anyways, I want to add some rugs to protect my floors, but I am not set on the material as of yet. I’ve read some stuff about vinyl rugs and their perks, and so I have been thinking of getting them for the house as a protective mechanism for my ceramic tiles. What are your thoughts? TIA!

Yes! I would definitely recommend that you go with vinyl flooring. They can definitely protect your ceramic tiles from cracking. They are durable, easy to clean and maintain, stain resistant AND will last for many years. Vinyl is also quite soft underfoot and can help with sound absorption. Premium vinyl is a wonderful all-rounder and you will not regret investing in, without breaking the bank.
