Are iron trays more stain-resistant than rattan/wooden trays?
Asked 2 years ago
My husband and I are coffee connoisseurs who collect coffee from all over the world. When he's working in his home office, I like to serve him coffee on a rattan tray. Unfortunately, it easily stains from dark brews. I'm looking for a more durable tray and am considering trying an iron tray.

Iron is a strong and durable material, and could be a good choice for you here. And if you've seen the gorgoues tray options from Beija Flor, you'd definitely want to have a few! In general, it is also stain-resistant, but it is very important to keep it away from water, which causes the iron to corrode. So if you'd like to serve your hubby coffee on the tray, perhaps place it on a placemat or fabric that you don't mind getting a bit stained.
