Which animal design motifs count as Roman tile design?
Asked 3 years ago
I have been inspired by Roman-style homes. I want to redo the tiles in my bathroom and replace them with a Roman-style tile design. I want to be unique in the design that I choose, and as such, I have decided to use an animal design on the tiles! Can anyone who knows about Roman interior design tell me which animal designs are used or are popular?

Roman tile design often depicted horses, lions, and fish, so you are free to use any designs with those animals. However, if you stick to the right colors (shades of blue, black, red, white, and yellow), you can choose any animal designs you want for your bathroom, and it will likely still feel authentic.
