What kinds of low-level seating complement Bohemian rugs?
Asked 3 years ago
I have a Bohemian rug in my living room, and I want to complement it with some low-level seating. I’m trying to go for the minimal layout and give the space a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. What should I be on the lookout for?

A Bohemian rug is a warm, colorful item that creates an earthy ambience. You could keep your seating neutral to allow the rug to be a focal point. A low sofa or upholstered bench in a solid color like a pale brown or earthy rust, should keep the warm theme and not distract from the rug. A pouf or a couple of upholstered big cushions to go on the floor, would blend in well. The fabric of the soft furnishings, like cushions and curtains, should be a shade softer than the color of the rug and the sofa.
